Sarah Palin Resigns | Sarah Palin Resigning as Alaska Governor
The Breaking News is that the Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice presidential nominee has announced on Friday, she will resign from her post at end of the July month. And return to private life, a dazzling decision by last year's Republican vice presidential candidate to leave office before the end of her first term.
The 45-year-old Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday that she would not seek a second term next year, setting up a possible run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. Ms. Palin offered conflicting signals about her purposes and her inspiration, speaking yesterday at outside her home in Wasilla.
Sarah Palin also said that she had been considering leaving office since she decided not to run for re-election. Her stepping down reason was not immediately clear. She added, “I’m not going to put Alaskans through that.” “I promised efficiencies and effectiveness. That’s not how I’m wired. I’m not wired to operate under the same old politics as usual.”
Fox News Just reported that she’s spent so much time defending herself against all of the bogus ethics complaints filed by her political enemies that she wasn’t able to focus on her duties as governor. Charles Krauthammer, an unquestionably conservative observer, explained on Fox News, “Palin is not a serious nominee for the presidency. She had to go home and study and spend a lot of time on issues in which she was not adept last year, and she hasn't.”
